Capybaras

Capybaras are the world's larget rodent. Native to South America, capybaras live in dense forests near bodies of water. They are good swimmers and can stay submerged underwater for up to five minutes, sometimes even falling asleep in water. Capybaras can weigh from 75 to 150 pounds. These rodents are herbivores and typically eat aquatic plants.

Capybaras communicate with each other using barks, chirps, whistles, and huffs. These noises help them keep track of eachother as well as gain the attention of other capybaras.
